Taxi Guru Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Taxi Guru ("the Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Booking and Payment
a. Booking: Passengers can book a taxi through the Taxi Guru mobile app, website, or by calling the designated hotline.
b. Payment: Payments can be made through the approved payment methods specified by Taxi Guru. Fare estimates and payment details will be provided before confirming the booking.
3. Cancellation and Refund
a. Cancellation by Passengers: Passengers can cancel a booking within a reasonable time frame. Taxi Guru reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee.
b. Cancellation by Taxi Guru: may cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, passengers will be notified, and alternative arrangements will be made.
4. Conduct of Passengers
a. Respect for Drivers: Passengers are expected to treat drivers with respect. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
b. Cleanliness: Passengers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness during the ride. Any damage caused by a passenger will be subject to additional charges.
5. Conduct of Drivers
a. Professionalism: Drivers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
b. Vehicle Maintenance: Drivers must ensure that their vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and meet safety standards.
6. Safety and Security
a. Seatbelts: Passengers are required to wear seatbelts at all times during the ride.
b. Prohibited Items: Passengers are not allowed to carry illegal substances, weapons, or any items that may pose a threat to the safety of the driver or other passengers.
7. Privacy
a. Data Collection: Taxi Guru may collect and use passenger and driver data for operational and analytical purposes. The privacy policy details the extent and purpose of data collection.
8. Liability
Taxi Guru is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the use of the service unless it is a result of negligence on the part of Taxi Guru.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Taxi Guru reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of india. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in india.
